Jessica was launched on the Union Canal at Ratho, near Edinburgh, ten years ago. She was blessed by Fr Dean Fostekew on Sunday 8th October 2000, with a sprinkling of rose petals on the water to bless the environment, and sprinkling of water within the boat. There were over 25 people there for the ceremony at the wharf, and almost all of them got on the boat together!
